Studio policy

How we protect your appointment and our team

These house rules keep the studio on time, respectful, and able to give every client the attention the work requires.

1. Beauty services within consultation and expertise

We provide cosmetic beauty services discussed during consultation and within our artists’ training and expertise. Services may include eyelash extensions, brow enhancement, permanent makeup, nano semi-permanent makeup, lip blush, eyeliner, lash lift, perm, tint, and waxing.

We do not provide medical treatment. We are not a medical clinic, spa medical practice, or dermatology office. We do not diagnose conditions, treat disease, prescribe medication, or perform medical procedures. If you have an eye infection, uncontrolled skin condition, open wound, recent surgery, or a concern that may require medical care, please see a licensed physician before booking.

2. Consultation, honesty, and the right to decline service

A consultation is required for new permanent makeup and may be required for other services. Please tell us about allergies, medications, pregnancy, recent procedures, eye conditions, skin treatments (including retinoids, acids, and laser), and prior cosmetic tattoo or lash work.

We may refuse, stop, or reschedule a service if:

  • the requested look is outside our expertise or not appropriate for your features, skin, or lashes;
  • your health history, skin condition, or aftercare ability makes the service unsafe or unlikely to hold;
  • you arrive under the influence of alcohol or drugs;
  • you are disrespectful to staff or other clients;
  • you refuse aftercare instructions or required consent forms.

A declined or stopped service does not create a right to a refund for time already reserved or work already performed.

3. Booking, deposits, and payment

Appointments are confirmed only when requested booking details are complete. A deposit or prepayment may be required, especially for new clients and longer services such as full lash sets and permanent makeup.

  • Deposits are applied to the scheduled service when you arrive on time.
  • Deposits are forfeited for no-shows and late cancellations as described below.
  • Payment is due at the time of service. We do not bill insurance.
  • Prices may change. The price quoted for a booked appointment is honored for that visit unless the service itself changes.
  • Gratuity is optional and appreciated; it is never required to receive care.

4. Cancellations, reschedules, late arrivals, and no-shows

Your appointment time is reserved for you alone. Please give at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule. Permanent makeup and other long appointments may require 48 hours’ notice.

  • Late arrival: We may shorten the service to finish on time, or we may need to reschedule. If less than half the appointment remains, the visit may be treated as a no-show.
  • No-show or same-day cancel: The deposit is forfeited. Repeat no-shows may require prepayment of the full service or may result in a declined future booking.
  • Artist or studio cancellation: If we must cancel, we will reschedule you at the next available comparable time. Deposits remain on your account.

Please arrive with a clean face for lash, brow, liner, and lip services, and with clean, intact skin for waxing. Extra clean-up time may reduce service time.

5. Studio conduct, guests, and minors

  • Please keep phones on silent. Video calls and speakerphone are not permitted during service.
  • Guests, children, and pets are not allowed in the service room unless we approve in advance. Permanent makeup and lash appointments require a still, uninterrupted environment.
  • Clients under 18 need a parent or legal guardian present to consent. Some services may not be offered to minors.
  • Harassment, threats, or discriminatory language toward staff or other clients will end the appointment immediately.
  • Food, extra drinks, and strong fragrance should be left outside the service area.

6. Photography, reviews, and intellectual property

We may photograph results for education and studio portfolios. Tell us before the appointment if you do not want photos used. You may take photos of your own result; please do not photograph other clients or unpublished studio techniques without permission.

Honest reviews are welcome. Warranty, refill, or correction requests should be made directly to the studio first so we can inspect the work. Public posts do not replace the warranty process on the service warranty page.

7. Results, healing, and assumption of risk

Beauty results vary with skin type, natural lash cycle, aftercare, hormones, sun, swimming, and product use. Permanent and semi-permanent makeup is a form of cosmetic tattooing. There is no warranty or guaranteed cosmetic result for any permanent makeup procedure on your skin. Fresh color, healed color, symmetry, retention, fading, and a perfect match to a reference photo cannot be promised or guaranteed.

By booking, you accept that:

  • services are cosmetic, not medical;
  • mild swelling, redness, tightness, itching, scabbing, or shedding can occur during healing;
  • you will follow aftercare and contact us promptly about concerns;
  • you will seek medical care for suspected infection or an allergic reaction;
  • completed labor is not refundable, subject only to the limited warranty.
