Service warranty

Limited warranty for eyelash extensions

Because our services are labor-intensive, they are not refundable. We stand behind eyelash extension workmanship with a basic limited warranty when aftercare is followed. We do not warranty user miscare or abuse of the service.

1. Services are not refundable

Time, product, and artistry cannot be returned once a service has begun. We do not offer cash refunds for completed or substantially completed work, including results you later decide you do not like or lashes that shed with a normal growth cycle.

If we agree a workmanship issue exists and aftercare was followed, the remedy is a complimentary correction, fill, or touch-up during the warranty window — not a refund.

Permanent makeup cosmetic results are not warrantied

There is no warranty or guaranteed cosmetic result for any permanent makeup, nano, brow, eyeliner, or lip blush procedure performed on your skin. Cosmetic tattoo results vary by skin type, skin history, health factors, medication, aftercare, sun exposure, lifestyle, prior work, and how your body heals.

Permanent makeup is a cosmetic service, not a guaranteed product. Fresh color, healed color, symmetry, retention, fading, and whether additional touch-ups are needed cannot be promised or guaranteed. Additional appointments, corrections, color boosts, removals, or work requested after healing may be charged separately.

2. Limited service warranty period for eyelash extensions

Service Warranty window What we will review
Eyelash extensions 3 days Unusual patchy loss or adhesive failure not explained by oil, water, rubbing, or missed aftercare

Warranty begins on the date of the original paid service. It covers the original application, not later fills, refreshes, or work performed elsewhere. One complimentary correction visit may be offered per warranty period if we confirm a qualifying issue.

3. Eyelash extension aftercare required for warranty

Lash extensions are bonded to your natural lashes. Oil, steam, water, and mechanical stress break that bond. To keep the 5-day warranty, you must follow aftercare from the appointment, including:

  • Keep lashes dry for the first 24–48 hours, or for the time your artist specifies, so adhesive can cure.
  • Do not use oil-based makeup, oil cleansers, oily sunscreens, or oil-based mascara on or around the lash line.
  • Do not rub, pick, pull, or sleep face-down on fresh extensions. Use a silk or satin pillowcase when possible.
  • Avoid saunas, steam rooms, hot yoga, swimming, and heavy sweating during the initial cure window.
  • Clean lashes gently with a lash-safe cleanser after the dry period. Dirty lashes shed faster and can irritate the lid.
  • Do not use lash curlers, waterproof mascara, or amateur removal products.
  • Do not have another technician fill, remove, or “fix” the set during the warranty window.

Natural lashes shed daily. Modest thinning in the first week is normal. Warranty applies to abnormal, workmanship-related loss, not ordinary cycling.

4. Lash lift, tint, and waxing

Lash lift, perm, tint, and waxing are not covered by the numbered warranty periods above. They are immediate cosmetic services. Please tell us about irritation before you leave the studio. After you leave:

  • Lift / perm / tint: Keep lashes dry for 24–48 hours. Avoid oil, mascara, and rubbing until your artist says it is safe.
  • Waxing: Avoid heat, sun, tight clothing, retinoids, and exfoliation on the area for at least 24–48 hours. Do not pick ingrown hairs.

5. What the warranty does not cover

We do not warranty user miscare or abuse of the service. Coverage is denied or limited when any of the following apply:

  • any cosmetic outcome, retention, healed color, symmetry, fading, or touch-up need for permanent makeup, nano, brow, eyeliner, or lip blush procedures;
  • oil, makeup, steam, water, chlorine, or sweat during a restricted aftercare window;
  • rubbing, picking, pulling, sleeping on the work, or using curlers and waterproof mascara;
  • another salon, technician, or at-home kit filling, removing, or altering the work;
  • normal lash shed or thinning from the natural lash cycle;
  • health, medication, pregnancy, or hormone factors that affect lash retention;
  • allergic reaction or medical complication — seek medical care; this is not a salon warranty event;
  • change of mind about style, length, or volume after you approved the plan;
  • requesting warranty after the stated window.

6. How to request warranty service

  1. Contact the studio during the warranty window at (760) 775-7090 or trish@trishslashes.com.
  2. Send clear, well-lit photos of the area and a short description of aftercare you followed.
  3. Come in for an in-person inspection if we request one. Warranty is not evaluated from social media posts alone.
  4. If we confirm a qualifying workmanship issue, we will schedule a complimentary correction. If we find miscare, abuse, or normal healing, the visit may be charged as a fill, refresh, or new service.

Warranty is limited to correction of the original service at our La Quinta studio. It is not transferable, not a guarantee of a specific aesthetic, and not an admission of fault. Booking or receiving a service means you accept this policy together with our studio policy.
